Seriously injured in the Egged number 402 bus crash this week that claimed six lives, Sara Sperling still needs Klal Yisrael’s tefilos.
Sperling, who was to be married in a number of weeks, 20, has a long road to recovery, including the fight to keep her right hand which doctors worked for ten hours to reattach and stabilize. Her condition on Thursday morning 9 Adar I is listed as moderate, and she remains in an intensive care unit in a medically induced coma. She is scheduled for an additional surgery for her badly injured leg as well.
Sara is a resident of Jerusalem’s N’vei Yaakov neighborhood and is engaged to Yaakov Kastlenitz of Kol Torah. Her mother, Mrs. Dina Sperling on Wednesday, 8 Adar I spoke with Kol Chai Radio, explaining the family visited with HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita, quoting the gadol hador saying not to delay the chasenah.
Mrs. Sperling explains the right hand was avulsed and the leg crushed. She thanks HKBH and the surgeons, who hopefully succeeded in reattaching her hand. The chasenah is scheduled to take place in three weeks.
The tzibur is urged to be mispallel for Sara bas Dina bsoch kol cholei am yisrael.
Despite much confusion, the name Chaya HAS NOT been added. The name above is the name of the young kallah in need of tefilos.
