The Mir Yerushalayim had an interesting group of visitors on Monday – a delegation of Chief’s of Staff of many high-ranking U.S. elected officials.
The visit was arranged by the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, R’ Yisroel Kellerman and R, Yitzchok Pindrus, a Chareidi Councilman in Jerusalem.
The purpose of the visit was to take a look into what Jewish life is, and the group came to the Mir Yerushalayim to see first hand what a Yeshiva looks like. Not just an ordinary Yeshiva, but the largest yeshiva in the world, and one that has a large American student body.
The group of 15 Chief’s of Staff from various United States Senator’s and Congressman were visibly moved when explained what the Bochrim and Kollel Yungerleit were doing at their Shtenders.
