Once again, more flooding was reported in oceanfront communities across the tri-state Tuesday.
The latest wave of flooding came one day after the coastline was slammed with storm-swollen high tides brought on by a wintry weather system that dropped heavy snow on parts of Long Island.
As can be seen in the photos below, parts of Far Rockaway (Queens) were inundated with water for the third straight high tide.
The National Weather Service had issued a coastal flood warning through Tuesday morning for areas along the southern shores of Queens and Brooklyn.
Acoastal flood advisory has been issued for Fairfield, Suffolk and Westchester counties.
On Monday YWN reported about multiple areas of flooding in coastal sections of Queens, Staten Island, and Brooklyn, Monday morning.

While you are certainly correct about the coastal flooding your GPS needs to be adjusted somewhat.
None of the posted pictures depict scenes from Far Rockaway. They are all from Edemere and Arverne.
I live right across from the ocean and I didn’t have a drop of water in front of my house.
The areas that were flooded are prone to flooding whereas Far Rockaway is not. Sandy was a once in 50 years aberration.
meirzev, there was flooding on Beach 25th St., Nameoke St., and Beach Channel Drive near Redfern Houses, all of which are in Far Rockaway. Those are just the places my family members and I saw.
