In his weekly motzei Shabbos shiur, HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz Shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Kisei Rachamim spoke out harshly against the agreement reached that will provide an egalitarian prayer area near the Kosel, an agreement that was permitted to pass by the religious parties in Knesset.
The rav said “They are not a stream of Judaism but destruction. Bibi and his friends must realize they are destroying Yiddishkheit”.
The rav’s shiur is broadcast weekly on Kol Berama Radio.
“Fools are allowed to take a dog and put tefilin on him, a kippa on his head and they make him bar mitzvah. Have you heard this madness? These are believers in the Torah? These are believers in HKBH? They are the damned wicked! Are they supposed to receive an area by the Kosel? The world does not understand and believes they are a stream but they are not a stream [of Judaism] but streams that uproot, cause destruction, destruction!”.
Rav Mazuz added “The rabbonim must be aware of that is taking place and what they are doing and how to response to an apikorus…”
Rav Mazuz stressed that persons must explain to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that he is destroying Am Yisrael, brining churban to the nation with his actions.
On Sunday morning 28 Shevat, the Women of the Wall (WoW) were in the ezras noshim of the Kosel, which they reported was empty due to the rain. They held a minyan in which they wore tefilin.
Their tweeter message said “This morning we are 12 women, 10 wore tefilin, 8 for the first time! All of this in the empty Kotel women’s section in the rain”.
