In another Arab hate crime, the shul established in memory of the three Gush Etzion kedoshim HY”D, about 100 meters from the community of Karmei Tzur. The makeshift shul was set up in a caravan in the outpost in their memory.

The vandals took all of the sifrei kodesh, piled them together and set them ablaze. They worked to make sure anything of kedusha was in the pile before setting on fire. B’chasdei Hashem the Sifrei Torah were unharmed as they were taken elsewhere and locked in a safe due to the inclement weather.

Residents arrived at the caravan on Shabbos morning as they were walking around and were horrified to see what occurred.

According to police investigators, the footprints from the scene lead to the PA (Palestinian Authority) village of Halhul. Security camera footage showed four individuals entering the shul and heading back to Halhul as well.
