The unseasonably cold wintry conditions of last week have been forgotten by most as the sun has been shining brightly in Yerushalayim and elsewhere around Israel in recent days. Even nighttime temperatures have been far from freezing, which was the case last week.

The winter break continues this week with forecasters predicting that on Thursday, temperatures will climb into the low 20sC (70sF). This is forecasted to continue on Thursday and erev Shabbos, but winter is expected to return on Shabbos, accompanied by rainfall.
