Honenu announced on Monday, 22 Shevat, that authorities have extended the administrative detention of Meir Ettinger for an additional four months. Ettinger was arrested and detained after security officials stated he is viewed as a threat to national security.
Ettinger’s current administrative detention order was to run out on Tuesday, 23 Shevat along with his 14-day hunger strike.
Honenu attorney Yuval Zemer, who represents Ettinger, on Monday stated he has yet to receive any formal notification regarding the extension of his client’s detention.
