Speaking to Kol Chai Radio on Monday morning 22 Shevat, Shas leader Minister Aryeh Deri explained that despite the cabinet approving the egalitarian prayer area near the Kosel, there will never be a formal recognition of the Reform Movement for as long as he is in a position to prevent it. He stressed there is only one stream of Yiddishkheit and that is adherence to Torah and Mitzvos, the path spelled out for Am Yisrael by Moshe Rabbeinu.
He acknowledged the passing of the decision is a difficult one, one that is also problematic since representatives on the committee who will oversee the operation of the new area include members of the Conservative and Reform Movements. The new area will be run by this committee and not by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel or the Rav of the Kosel and holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz.
He pointed out that by objecting to the current arrangement, the matter would have been left to the Supreme Court, which would have likely permitted the same arrangement in an area of the Kosel or its plaza.

For a change I agree with Deri…its the best outcome in a complex situation and one that avoids extended litigation where the outcome was almost certain to be less acceptable. No one is forced to go daven there if they object to mixed minyanim as most of us do.
Gadol Hadorah,
Based on following your posts for years, I believe you are unaware not aware of the damage done by these movements. There are no branches in Judaism. There is not one shulchan Aruch for Reform, and one for orthodox. The movements deny the divine divinity for the Torah..
It’s either you are not aware, or perhaps I think you are a Reform-Reconstructionist Rabbi yourself. Your posts reflect your hashkafa.
Maybe Reformer Uri Regev paid you off with all the money the Reform has.
