Join Rabbi Paysach Krohn and Mrs. Jamie Geller for an uplifting evening in celebrating 45 years of Seeach Sod’s accomplishments in its programming of youth and adults with special needs on Feb. 2, the 23rd of Shvat, at the Jerusalem International Convention Center. The ladies’ only program – titled “A Taste of Their World” – also will feature a performance from Seeach Sod’s Ma’oz Yerushalayim Girls Choir.
Seeach Sod’s provides 1000 individuals, ranging in age from infancy to adulthood with a wide spectrum of disabilities, nurturing them with programs and therapeutic services. Seeach Sod’s frameworks include a developmental day care center and preschool, two schools (ages 1-21) for boys and girls with moderate special needs, an additional two schools for children with severe communication disorders, and a separate vocational training center for men and women aged 21+. Seeach Sod also offers residential services for its adult population (31 group homes at the present time), an overnight Respite Center, a Center for Early Childhood Development, a dental clinic, all necessary therapies and medical support, and family support services.
On site will be an exhibition of artwork and music created by Seeach Sod’s students.
