As YWN has been reporting, some areas of Queens have hardly been plowed, and residents are furious and demanding immediate action from the city. But according to exclusive information that YWN has just received, the action that the city is taking to deal with the fiasco in Queens will likely infuriate residents in other areas – most notably in Southern Brooklyn.
While streets in areas of Boro Park and Midwood were clean – thanks to the incredible work of the Community Boards along with the Dept of Sanitation – this may very soon change as the equipment has been relocated.
Equipment that has been moved includes snowplows, bobcats, salt-spreaders, and front-end loaders.
Thankfully, Monday saw sunny skies and snow melted, but with the streets wet and the temperatures dropping again, without adequate salt spreaders the streets will turn into sheets of ice.
The question is, who is to blame for this decision to move equipment.
Is it the Sanitation Commissioner? NYC Mayor de Blasio?
Time will tell.
Perhaps the areas that will suffer now are simply being penalized for doing such a good job [CB 10,11,12,14].

This is really an example of Yellow Journalism insuating that there is some anti-semetic streak in the department of sanitation.
The Jewish Parts of Queens have not been plowed and are a disaster area. Perhaps if you had known this you would not have published this.
