Tens of thousands of talmidim and former talmidim of the Mir Yeshiva are expected to among those taking part in the levaya of HaGaon HaRav Refoel Shmuelevitz ZT”L, one of the Mir Roshei Yeshiva. The rav was niftar on Monday night.

The meis will arrive at Mir at 11:00 from Shamgar Funeral Home and hespedim in the yeshiva will begin. Maspidim will include Roshei Yeshiva HaGaon HaRav Eliezer Yehuda Finkel Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Ezrachi Shlita. In addition, hespedim will be given by HaGaon Rav Moshe Mordechai Farberstein, son-in-law HaGaon Rav Segal [Mir Brechfeld], and his son HaGaon HaRav Yaakov Shmuelevitz.

As the levaya continues hespedim are also going to be given by Rosh Yeshivas Tifrach HaGaon HaRav Aviezer Flitch, Rosh Yeshivas Ponevezh HaGaon HaRav Dov Povarsky and Rosh Yeshivas Chevron HaGaon HaRav David Cohen.
