Jerusalem City Hall has released a statement adamantly denying a Channel 10 News report stating security for kindergartens has been removed. In the official statement, city officials explain security continues in the kindergartens in line with Israel Police recommendations and there has not been any change.

A number of months ago, during the ongoing Palestinian terror wave, the city added some additional measures including 24 security patrol vehicles that travel between kindergartens in addition to installing security systems in some kindergartens.

The city calls the Channel 10 report untrue and rejects any hint of lowering security standards in the city’s kindergartens.
