During the night, the condition of HaGaon Rav Chaim Shlomo Leibowitz stabilized somewhat. The rav is one of the roshei yeshiva in Ponevezh and is listed in serious condition in Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer Hospital. He has been diagnosed with a very serious case of pneumonia. In addition, the rav fell at home about a month ago and this led to bleeding in his brain and complications since the fall.

The rav remains in an intensive care unit in a medically induced coma on assisted respirations.
