A nine-justice extended panel of the Supreme Court will be hearing a Yesh Atid party petition challenging the amended draft law that was passed into law by the current administration. The High Court has instructed the government to respond to the petition no later than March 31, 2016.

Yesh Atid filed a petition with the High Court after the current administration passed an amended version of its draft law. Co-petitioners in the petition include the National Students Union. The petition was filed in November 2015, not long after the amended law was passed.
