The weekly BaSheva newspaper, a dati leumi publication run by former MK Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh), reports that on December 31, 2015 there were 407,118 Jews in communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron as compared to 389,250 residents on December 31, 2014. This represents a 4.6% increase in Yehuda and Shomron and a 1.9% increase in the State of Israel.
The report adds there are an additional 375,000 Jews in areas of so-called eastern Yerushalayim, which includes Gilo, Armon HaNatziv to Ramot, Ramat Shlomo, and Pisgat Ze’ev. These 375,000 residents make up the majority of Jewish Jerusalem.
Hence, there are approximately 800,000 Jews living over the Green Line, in areas viewed as “Israeli occupied” by the US and international community.

Interesting to note:
“a 4.6% increase in Yehuda and Shomron and a 1.9% increase in the State of Israel”
The Jews living in the West Bank increase faster than those living in Israel proper.
Perhaps that is a reflection of the parsha that as the Egyptian taskmasters afflicted the Jews so did the Jews multiply.

Not so great. Chaz”al have warned us to avoid confrontation with the nations through out the period of Golus. Territorial conquests should not at all be any proiority for us at this time.
We are waisting our energy for the wrong stuff. This is NOT the road to our redemption. Wrong way.
