[COMMUNICATED CONTENT] As more and more Americans are relocating to Eretz Yisrael, either permanently or partially, the need for services and communities to accommodate American culture and lifestyle booms. Many community leaders, developers and entrepreneurs are catering to these distinct needs by crafting entire new neighborhoods built according to a higher standard of construction and with communal infrastructure in place to accommodate to the “chutznik” mentality.
Investing millions to create the perfect haven for Americans, the real estate company Chish Nofei Israel has teamed up with Rav Bezalel Rudinsky, rabbi of Congregation Ahavas Yitzchok, and Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Ohr Reuven and Yeshivas Darchei Noam of Monsey, in the development Ramat Givat Zeev, a brand-new, American-style community located minutes from Jerusalem.
Rav Rudinsky plans to help establish an American-style yeshiva in the neighborhood and assist in the overall religious and educational functions of the community, aiming to facilitate in the integration of American families moving to Eretz Yisrael.
“The idea, bezras Hashem, is to help members of our community here in the States to have everything that we have here but with the zechus of being in Eretz Yisrael, with a unique emphasis on building an all-inclusive community where everyone feels connected,” said Rav Rudinsky. While the community is still in the preliminary stages of construction and development, many families have begun to take an interest in relocating to Ramat Givat Zeev. In addition to helping establish chinuch institutions in the neighborhood, Rav Rudinsky plans to spend some of his time in the new community with his family while still continuing all of his responsibilities in the States.
“The concept is basically to create a unified communal lifestyle in Eretz Yisrael,” Rav Rudinsky explained. “And for the families with younger children, to have in place an educational system similar to what we have in the U.S.” According to Rav Rudinsky and many members of his community, Ramat Givat Zeev provides the perfect setting for this, aiming, bezras Hashem, to create a communal hashkafa of openness that integrates a frum family-centered lifestyle and quality of living in Eretz Yisrael.
Ramat Givat Zeev will be an upscale, Torani community built to include high standards of construction and infrastructure located in the outskirts of Jerusalem. The neighborhood will blend Torah living with modern recreational and commercial centers, complete with all necessary services and amenities. With construction slated to finish in the next two years, Ramat Givat Zeev will be a gated neighborhood that includes schools, yeshivas, shuls, shops, and a country club.
In addition, the neighborhood will feature wide streets, walking paths and LED street lighting. There will several expansive parks and playgrounds, and beautifully manicured gardens, as well as fountains and sports clubs.
Some 200 families, including English-speaking families in Israel and North Americans planning for Aliyah in the near future, already have purchased private homes and luxury apartments in the neighborhood. Select apartments remain.

You forgot to provide a google map of Ramat Givat Zeev, and the contact info. so I could apply for an apartment in Ramat Givat Zeev.
So there will be “everything that we have here but with the zechus of being in Eretz Yisrael”. Part of the zechus of being in Eretz Yisroel involves giving up the hedonistic lifestyle many so called haredim live in America. Things are different here Rabbi Rudinsky. Haredi life here does not take in a gated neighborhood that includes a country club. Nor do Haredi neighborhoods feature beautifully manicured gardens, as well as fountains and sports clubs. When are the residents going to use the country club, after their Sunday morning brunch?

What exactly is “upscale”?
Does this mean an exclusive club of rich frum with “upturned” noses at the lower scale?

More American gashmius transferred to Israel. How exciting is that…
i live in rbsa barely making ends meet. how about decent schools i.e. understanding you dont magiclly learn hebrew by osmosis, lack of tolerence for bullying, good combo of secular and teligious studies for us. Or is that a moshiach thing.
For all those complaining about the gashmius something like this brings, the level of gashmius will never be close to the level of gashmius in America. Every American I see here in israel, is blown away by the gashmius every time they go to Target. Beautifully manicured lawns are not hedonistic and neither are fountains. The BHMK was gorgeous but somehow this Christian idea has become part of our beliefs, that the holier it is the more basic it has to be. And if you’re a Talmud Chacham you’re not allowed to have outlets like basketball or painting.
They also haven’t mentioned what type of stores will be there but it will probably be your average makolets and maybe a handful of clothing stores. It won’t be anything too exciting that the people from yerushalayim will have any pull to drive there to shop at their awesome new stores.
No matter how spectacular the country club will be, it still will be a major step down from what you can have in the US.
If you’re worried about the rich snobs, when they say upscale they mean clean, fresh and pretty. It’s over the green line so it will be cheap. The rich snobs will stay in yerushalayim where they can afford the same thing for more expensive.
Also if you’re insulted that it’s gated, again it’s over the green line and very close to Ramallah. No one would move there unless they were assured of their security.
And no I’m not planning to move there.
So Americans stop worrying about the Israelis living like Americans. Learning in kollel does not mean you have to be poor and living in Israel doesn’t mean your front yard has to be made of sand.
If you post my previous comment, I’m worried that it sounds like I’m being cynical about this project. I’d like to clarify that that I was addressing the American posters who are so zealous for the ‘kavod of Eretz Yisrael’ that any time Israelis chas veshalom have any level of physical pleasures, that were missing the point of living in Israel.
