A Fum IDF Soldier was tragically killed, and another injured in a training accident, Tuesday afternoon.

Yishai Russels Z”L, a member of the Netzach Yehuda unit was killed at the Ze’elim base in southern Israel, the army says.

According to reports, the tragic accident occurred when a mortar shell landed near the area where the officers were viewing the training.

No further information was released to the media.
