Israel Police and the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) continue the investigation into the erev Shabbos Palestinian shooting attack into a Dizengoff Street pub in Tel Aviv.

The manhunt for Nashat Melhem continues, the terrorist suspected of perpetrating the attack, who is still believed to have his automatic weapons as well. Police announced on Tuesday, 24 Teves that Melhem’s father was arrested in addition to five other suspects, relatives and friends. Mr. Mohammed Melhem was remanded before the Haifa Magistrate Court later on Tuesday as the investigation continues.

Earlier in the day, Mohammed called on his son to turn himself in, asking Nashat to contact him to arrange turning himself into authorities.

Despite his public condemnation of the attack, and his call for his son to turn himself in, it appears Mohammed is facing accessory to murder charges in the case.
