It is not every day one sees an ostrich walking the streets of a Jerusalem neighborhood but that is exactly what residents reported on Sunday afternoon 15 Teves.
The ostrich was seen walking down Shabtai Hanegbi Street in Gilo Aleph and residents phoned police as clearly, they were clueless what to do. Police arrived on the scene and were surprised to learn the call was not a prank. They phoned veterinary services and in a matter of time the ostrich was taken into protective custody.
Officials were able to learn that a neighborhood resident purchased a baby female ostrich in a pirate sale from a resident of the Israeli Arab municipality of Kfar Kassam. The ostrich has grown considerably since then but the owner saw no need to contact veterinary officials.
City and veterinary officials reported arrangements would be made to relocate the ostrich from Gilo to the city’s Biblical Zoo.

It must have escaped from the Knesset!
Torah613, lol!
We have a good few of them in the US Senate/Congress as well!
The way those people are holding the bird is very dangerous. It can kill with its feet if provoked.
So this was a Palestinian ostrich that had infiltrated a Jewish home?
The Ostrich doesn’t look like a happy camper!
since animals do not have a yetzer hara, they have no problem in experiencing kedusha, so this bird wanted to walk in the holy city of the holy land to feel the keshusha.
