Dan District police on Wednesday 11 Teves released a call to the public, seeking the assistance of the tzibur in locating Nirit Yaakobson, 46, who abducted her son a number of months ago and has since disappeared.

The suspect and her husband are in the process of divorce. During custody hearings the court ruled their 10-year-old son is to remain with his father. A number of months ago, the mother arrived at her son’s school dressed in chareidi garb. She took the boy and disappeared.

She was last seen on December 20, 2015 in Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact police at 03-610-4500/618 or the ‘100’ emergency number.
