15:00: The following update is given by Dr. Yosef Halbertal, Chief of Surgery at Shaare Zedek Hospital regarding two of the Shar Yaffo attack victims.

As reported earlier, one was wounded by gunfire, apparently directed at the attackers to neutralize them. The second was wounded by the attackers’ knives.

Dr. Halbertal:

We received two victims, one serious and the second critical condition, from gunfire. They were treated in the trauma unit and one taken into surgery. The second was treated for stab wounded to the upper body, back and front.

The gunshot victim was wounded in the upper body and already in the operating room. His condition is life-threatening.

The stabbing victim was conscious upon arrival while the gunshot victim was unconscious in grave condition.
