The IDF Artillery Corps officer who forgot classified documents in his vehicle, which was subsequently stolen, has been ousted from the military.
IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gadi Eizenkott has decided to dismiss Lt.-Colonel Ilan Levy from the service. He was serving in the Artillery Corps in the Northern Command.
YWN-ISRAEL recently reported Levy forgot classified documents in his vehicle over a weekend, and the vehicle was stolen with the information inside.
Following the incident Levy was immediate suspended for 14 days as investigators probed the incident.
