US President Barack Obama signed that nation’s $1.8 trillion budget which includes a $3.1 billion aid package for Israel.
The aid package includes $487 million for the Iron Dome project, the front-line short range rocket defense package that has already saved a countless number of lives as it has intercepted rockets fired into Israel from Gaza. In addition to the Iron Dome, development of the David’s Sling defense system for longer-range rockets continues along with the Arrrow-2 and Arrow-3 rockets, all joint Israeli/ US projects.
$200 million will be used to restock weapons arsenals in Israel which are to be used in the event of an emergency, as was the case during Operation Protective Edge, when Israel required additional military hardware and ammunition.

This forum knows I am no fan of his but give credit where credit is due. He could have played hardball trying to bully his way in getting Israel to capitulate with the Arabs he so adores.
If he would just pay Israel back for all the damage he caused it would be a lot more.
