IDF Lt.-Colonel Ilan Levy, an officer in the Artillery Corps in the Northern Command, was suspended for violating military regulations by leaving classified documents in his vehicle, which was stolen near his home over the weekend.

The officer was suspended for 14 days as military police are investigating. The decision to suspend him was made following a consultation between Northern Commander Major-General Aviv Kochavi and Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gadi Eizenkott.
