In some areas, including the Golan Heights, temperatures are below zero (centigrade). However, things are expected to warm up as the week progresses and by Wednesday, temperatures are expected to be seasonable.

The coldest weekend temperatures were recorded in the Mount Hermon area, where it was reportedly -8C (17.6F). Snowfall is not expected.
