14-Year-Old Arrested For Throwing Rocks At Belzer Cheder Bus In Spring Valley, Injuring Child

cccThe Spring Valley Police Department has arrested a suspect for throwing rocks at a Belzer Yeshiva bus on Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect is 14-years-old, and has been turned over to the custody of a parent. Due to the age of the suspect, the case has been handed over to Rockland County Probation.

In the story first brought to you by YWN, at around 2:15PM Tuesday afternoon, a bus from the Belzer Cheder on North Cole and Church Street in Spring Valley exited the school to take the young children home. As soon as the driver made a left tun out of the school and onto North Cole, multiple rocks struck the bus windows where the children were sitting. One rock went flying through the window and struck a child.

Spring Valley Police as well as Rockland Chaverim responded quickly to the scene, and began combing the area for the perpetrators.

Rockland Hatzolah was on the scene treating the child for facial abrasions.
