The home of a Hamas terrorist located in the Shuafat Refugee Camp in the capital was razed on Wednesday morning, 20 Kislev as planned. Over 1,000 police personnel were required to enter the densely populated area to carry out the mission.
Apparently, as was hoped, the sizable force served as a deterrent and the operation was completed with minimal resistance. There were a number of reports that gunfire was directed at them but this was not substantiated.
The home that was destroyed belonged to a terrorist responsible for two deaths.
A Jerusalem police spokesman explained that the court order was given to destroy the home of the terrorist responsible for the vehicular ramming attack on November 5, 2014 in which border police Superintendent Jedan Assad was murdered along with Shlomo Aharon Ba’adani.
Police commanders were compelled to prepare for the worst scenario as they entered this hostile area of the capital. All area roads were closed down by police to prevent persons from coming to the area to confront police.
The video below shows the demolition from a chopper that was operating overhead.

Too much money and resources used for such an operation
They should just warn all the neighbors to leave, then drop a 2,000 lb. bomb on the house. No need for such an expensive operation.
Waste of money as the PA will rebuild 3 houses for the dogs.
Wqy to go!
If only they did this more often the terror would likely halt! Homes are costly and their families are made to pay the price of their honored family member’s deeds!
