Kfar Chabad to Finally Receive Street Names

kchaAnyone familiar with Kfar Chabad is aware the streets do not have names and if one wishes to visit someone, one receives directions via landmarks, stores or something to identify a street. In a move that seems to be a welcome one for most residents, the community’s council decided to name all the streets.

Since the community was established there has not be official names for the streets. There are names for the different neighborhoods but not streets and while residents seem to have found a way to make it work, it is most confusing for visitors and the decision to name streets will literally put residents on the map.

  1. yitzyk, everybody probably stops in at the doar like in all these small yishuvim.

So – besides Rechov Chachma, Rechov Bina and Rechov Daat, what else? Tanya Lane, Alter Rebbe through Yechi hamelech avenues (that’s seven), Baal shemtov street, Ahavas Yisroel Road, Mivtzaim Road…..
