Deputy Minister of Education Meir Porush met with Chabad roshei yeshivos on Tuesday afternoon, 5 Kislev to discuss the draft law. Also present was IDF Brigadier-General Merav Krishner of the Personnel Branch.

The roshei yeshiva are from the different Chabad communities, including Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Vileshensky Shlita (Tzfat), Rabbi Yitzchak Goldberg (Migdal HaEmek) and Rabbi Moshe Havlin (Kiryat Ata and Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Gat).

The meeting took place in the deputy minister’s office. They discussed the amended draft law and its impact on the chareidi tzibur.
