Baltimore’s homicide toll for 2015 continues to mount after reaching what Police Commissioner Kevin Davis called a “sad” milestone of 300 over the weekend.
Less than four hours after announcing that slaying, police reported another homicide Saturday night.
They say a 22-year-old man was shot in the chest and died a short time later. Police have not announced the man’s identity.
The 300th homicide recorded earlier Saturday was the stabbing death of a 27-year-old man.
This is the first time since 1999 that the city has recorded 300 homicides. In 2014, the city saw 211 killings for the year.

The police in Baltimore have been forced to surrender to criminals ever since police were arrested for doing their job.
That’s what happens when people put in liberal politicians!
The people killed are almost all young lower class African American males, who get killed in their own neighborhood (defined both by race and class). If you not young, not male, not poor and/or not Black – not your problem. The rest of the city, including the middle class Black areas, hear about it in news sources but aren’t affected (except for a few medical and legal professionals whose parnassah gets enhanced).
And frankly, ISIS can kill more people in a few days
