Police late motzei Shabbos announced that the vehicular accident between Kochav Yaakov and Psagot in the Binyamin Regional Council of the Shomron was not a simple hit and run as was announced earlier, but an intentional vehicular ramming attack.

It is reported the Arab driver, who also had a long knife in the vehicle, was planning to enter Psagot and perpetrate an attack but was deterred by the sentry post. He made a U turn and then intentionally rammed the vehicle. The terrorist’s vehicle has yellow Israeli license plates which were stolen.

The terrorist/driver was killed in the attack. Four residents of Psagot were injured, two in light condition and two moderate. They were transported to a Jerusalem hospital.

Officials in Shaare Zedek Medical Center reported a father and nine-year-old son are in moderate/stable condition.
