Obama Says Trump’s Deportation Plan Is Unrealistic

truPresident Barack Obama says Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s proposal to deport millions of undocumented immigrants is unrealistic and would cost the nation hundreds of billions of dollars.

In an interview Thursday with ABC News, Obama suggests imagining the images on screens flashed around the world as parents are dragged away from their children, put in detention centers and systematically sent out of the country.

He says that’s not “who we are as Americans.”

Trump has said the U.S. can successfully and humanely deport the estimated 11 million people living in the country illegally with a deportation force.

Obama attributes cheers for the plan to a strain of anti-immigrant sentiment in American. He says it’s the job of leaders not to play into that sentiment.

  1. Sure it plays “to a strain of anti-immigrant sentiment in America”, but also plays well with the over 60% of Americans who are anti-ILLEGAL-immigrants.

While yes, it may sound “unrealistic”, but its doable.

  2. Obama is just afraid that Trump will deport him also once Elected. He doesn’t have a valid birth certificate and there can’t prove citizenship

  3. So basically he’s saying, who cares what the majority of Americans want!

This thing doesn’t realize he works for us, not the other way around. The pansies in congress and the Senate are all too scared to say anything for fear of being labeled a racist.

Saul Alinsky must be so proud!

  4. how ridiculous has this world gotten when the reason not to enforce a law is b/c it wont look good in the selfie pics. Gaza used the same tactic to win the war in the media showing sad pics of dead gazan’s.
