Minister of Galil & Negev Development Aryeh Deri announced the allocation of NIS 20 million for the development of religious sites, kivrei tzaddikim. Deri explains that millions of Israelis and Jews from around the world visit these sites every year and they will boost the economy.
The plan was approved by the required ministerial committee, and the NIS 20 million will be used to develop new tourist, historical and religious sites. “We are proud of our heritage. There are millions of Israelis and Jews that are mispallel at kivrei tzaddikim at least once a year and the plan will draw more visitors and provide additional employment for Galil residents” Deri explained.
