Border policeman First-Sergeant Binyamin Yakobowitz HY”D died of his massive injuries sustained in a terrorist car ramming attack last week. He was niftar in Hadassah Hospital on Monday evening, 26 Cheshvan.

The attack occurred at Halhul Junction on Wednesday, 22 Cheshvan, close to 4:00 PM. The other soldiers fired at the terrorist, killing him.

Yakobowitz, 18, entered the border police 18 months ago. He is survived by his parents and two siblings.

The levaya is scheduled to take place on Monday, 27 Cheshvan at 18:00 in the Kiryat Ata Military Cemetery.
