The decision has been made to assign bodyguard to Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, the rav of the Kosel and holy sites in light of his recent statements condemning those who visit Har Habayis as well as Jews who sneak into Kever Yosef without coordinating with the IDF.
The rav decries the actions of such individuals, calling it “madness”, adding their “irresponsible actions place soldiers in danger as well as endangering all of us and they should be condemned and action should be taken against these individuals”.
Security agents will be with the rav and there will also be a security detail at his home.

B”H for Rabbonim like R’ Shmuel Rabinowitz, who stand up for what’s right and admonish those who are just wrong. Thank goodness we still have some sane people left.
