HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein Shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Ponevezh, visited the kever of his father on his yahrzeit on Sunday night and not Monday, 20 Cheshvan. The rav led maariv in the minyan at his home and he then visited the kever of HaGaon HaRav Tzvi Yehuda Edelstein ZT”L, a former Chief Rav of Ramat HaSharon who is buried in the old Ramat HaSharon Cemetery.

Rav Edelstein explained that he generally gives his Shiur Klalli on Monday morning and he feared his going to the cemetery would lead to bitul Torah so he did so during the evening as the poskim bring down is permitted.
