There was a fatal motor vehicle accident in Kvish 6 (Highway 6) on Wednesday morning 15 Cheshvan near the Kiryat Gat Interchange. Two woman were killed and a man in his 30s was moderately injured. According to the preliminary findings of accident investigation official, a wheel fell from a truck and struck the vehicle in which the three were traveling. The road was closed in the northbound direction for a long period of time as a result of the accident.

Police later reported the dead women were residents of Dimona, one 42 and the second 39. Officials in the trauma unit of Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva report the man’s condition to be moderate.
