According to a notice in the Hamodia newspaper, the leadership of Agudas Yisrael is expected to convene in Bnei Brak this week, on Thursday, 15 Cheshvan at 5:00PM on Rabbi Akiva Street. It says the meeting is to discuss recent threats to kedushas Shabbos in Eretz Yisrael but the main discussion is likely to surround the “Norwegian Law”, having Deputy Education Minister Meir Porush resign as an MK while remaining a deputy minister, thereby clearing the way for Degel Hatorah faction member Yaakov Asher to return to Knesset.
Yahadut Hatorah only received seven seats in the elections and Asher was number eight on the list and he is therefore out of the current 20th Knesset.
