Emergency responders were called Wednesday evening to Beit Omer after a Palestinian terrorist veered his vehicle into a crowd of IDF soldiers. It appears that one soldier was seriously injured and four others were also injured. The terrorist was eliminated at the scene.

According to preliminary information, it appears an army vehicle came under attack from stones or possibly gunfire. Upon exiting the vehicle, the soldiers were run over by a Palestinian terrorists.

Ichud Hatzalah states that an IDF soldier was rushed to Hasassah Ein Kerem Trauma Unit in Jerusalem with serious head injuries.

Three other soldiers were being treated with  moderate injuries. The attack occurred on Rt. 60 between Beit Omer and Karmei Tzur.

UPDATE 9:12PM IL: The vehicle used to attack the soldiers had yellow Israeli license plates. The front and black plates do not match.
