The High Court of Justice on Monday 6 Cheshvan ruled to permit delaying the destruction of the Ayelet HaShachar Shul in Givat Ze’ev for two weeks due to the current security crisis which is keeping security forces too busy to address the shul demolition. In fact the reprieve is for a bit more than two week, until Thursday, 23 Cheshvan.

Security officials told the court they do not have the time or manpower to allocate troops for the demolition.

The court ordered the tractors escorted by security forces to arrive in Givat Ze’ev on November 5, 2015 and destroy the shul in line with its ruling.
