Assemblyman Dov Hikind visited Yeshiva Tiferet-TJ in Bayit Vegan, Yerushalayim during his solidarity trip to Israel. In the presence of the Rosh Yeshivah, Rabbi Chananya Greenwald, the Mashgiach, Rabbi Don Perkal, and Rabbi Ronnie Greenwald, Hikind delivered a powerful message to the American students in the yeshiva discussing why he decided to visit Israel during this time and to give them chizuk in their learning.

Hikind spoke about his experiences from his trip, including visiting those wounded in recent terrorist attacks recuperating at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Hikind said the reason for his visit was “to walk the streets of Yerushalayim” in order to showcase to other Jews what is going on in Israel and that it was one of the most powerful experiences of his life.
