Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday 5 Cheshvan, in Jerusalem, met with United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph F. Dunford Jr. The meeting was also attended by IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eizenkott, National Security Adviser Yossi Cohen, and the Prime Minister’s Military Secretary Brig.-Gen. Eliezer Toledano.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff took office earlier this month, and Israel is the first country he is visiting. The two men discussed strategic cooperation between the two countries and the strategic challenges that we face. Today commenced with a joint exercise in southern Israel between the IDF and the US military.
