Amid Heartrending Crisis, A Source of Comfort and Aid

6[COMMUNICATED CONTENT]

The situation of our brothers in Eretz Yisroel is dire and terrifying. With the start of the new year of 5776 a wave of vicious terror attacks have been striking the heart of the yishuv in Eretz Yisroel, sending shockwaves throughout Eretz Yisroel.

Amid this terrible time, Sa’ad Umarpeh, which has been providing aid and health services to the community in Eretz Yisroel with professionalism and dedication has activated its resources during this crisis, sending their medical professionals and volunteers throughout the country to bring much needed relief to the terror victims and their family.

Thursday evening found a group of Sa’ad Umarpeh representatives, headed by its indefatigable director, Reb Motti Fried, walking the hallways of Shaarei Tzedek, where, tragically many of the attacks are recovering—visiting with Reb Yom Tov Lipa Neuhaus, one of the more recent terror victims.

From there they made their way to another stabbing victim form that evening at the Central Bus Station. The young woman who was extremely moved by this visit reported emotionally, “I missed the 402 bus to Bnei Brak so I made my way to Har Nof. On my way onto the bus, I felt a stab and terrible pain, but no one believed me when I screamed that I was attacked—until I help up my blood-soaked jacket!

Sa’ad Umarpeh did not forget about the difficult circumstances of the IDF soldiers; young men who find themselves under increasing pressure and adversity in serving as the first line of defense in this newest front in the millennia-old conflict. Sa’ad Umarpeh volunteers set out with refreshments and a whole lot of emotional support to where the soldiers were being stationed—bringing them much-needed respite and the gratitude of those whom they seek to protect, b”H.

That same evening, the Hilulah of the great posek Chacham Ovadiah Yosef, zt”l, found Sa’ad Umarpeh accommodating the many visitors to the tziyun with a tent set up nearby with abundant food and drink to give strength to those who have come to beseech Hashem for salvation in the merit of this tzaddik at this difficult time.

May Hashem bring indeed salvation and relief from the persecution of our brothers and sisters who are suffering so much. Until that time, Sa’ad Umarpeh will be there to serve with selflessness and mercy to help alleviate that suffering.

Saad Umarpeh needs your help in continuing their lifesaving activities. For more information or to donate, please click www.helpgetwell.org
