NO Attempted Abduction In Far Rockaway Thursday Night

rnspAs it turns out, news of an attempted abduction that spread like wildfire through the Far Rockaway Jewish community Thursday night, DID NOT transpire.

Police say that a pizza delivery man was trying to find an address that was hard to locate. He stopped his vehicle and asked 2 young girls (who are standing near the address that had ordered the pizza) if they were the ones that “wanted” pizza. Those girls, who had no knowledge of the fact that pizza was ordered, misunderstood the delivery man as offering them pizza as a means by which to abduct them.

This is what was uncovered by a thorough and swift police investigation in conjunction with the RNSP (Shomrim).

The community thanks the NYPD’s 101 Precinct for their immediate response and taking this so seriously.

  1. These types of calls are a macher’s delight. Anybody within 20 miles with a walkie talkie, and a cherry on top of his car converging on the scene.
