Chaverim of Rockland on behalf of the Town of Ramapo Police Department has released the following News Release:

The Town of Ramao Police Department is part of an extensive network of law enforcement agencies that continually monitors terrorist acts around the world. A recent wave of stabbings and shootings in Israel are an example of the kind of events that are evaluated by the Police Department. As a precaution, the Police Department adjusts its policing response as needed based on events such as these. As always Town of Ramapo Supervisor P. St. Lawrence urges the public to be vigilant and to immediately report any suspicious activity to the Ramapo Police at 845-357-2400.
