FBI Director James Comey says there’s a troubling gap in trust between police and minority communities in a year when violent crime has been on the rise in large cities across the United States, including Cleveland.
Comey made his remarks during a forum Thursday at a community college in Cleveland that included the Cleveland police chief and Cuyahoga County sheriff.
Fixing the troubled relationship between police and Cleveland’s black community is one of the key measures in a reform-minded agreement reached in May between the city and the U.S. Justice Department after the department concluded that Cleveland police too often use excessive force and violate people’s rights.
Comey says “predators” must be taken off the street but added that “you can’t arrest your way out of problems in America.”

Mr. Comey, now you wake up? Your black boss, Barack Obama & his previous black AG, the unelected criminal Eric Witholder, are the cause of the greatest racial divide in our country’s history. Those 2 race hustlers have perfected the “divide and conquer” strategy. But don’t worry. Your next boss, Hillary Clinton, will just continue the same policy’s.
