I have put my heart into this design and I am very passionate about it. It was inspired by tragedy but it is my professional opinion that my design will save lives and avoid most of the common failures associated with using hotplates sometimes three days at a time every week for years at a time. Even new food warming plates that claim to be triple safety tested are not made with quality in mind. Some only cost a few dollars to manufacture. The hardest part of the Shabbos Safe Hotplate was not designing a heavier grade hotplate with all my safety features and specifications. The hardest part was finding a factory that could make such a device at a price the average Jewish consumer could afford. I have done that!

The Shabbos Safe Hotplate has a three prong ground circuit breaker and thermal circuitry that will cut the flow of electricity under most any abnormal emergency.
