Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) will travel to Israel today with a group of New Yorkers as part of a four-day solidarity trip. Hikind and the group will walk the streets of Jerusalem, pay their respects to families of terror victims and survivors of terror attacks, and visit thousands of New Yorkers who are studying in schools in Israel. The visit is intended to demonstrate support for Israelis in light of a wave of deadly terrorist attacks.
“I am horrified and sickened by the barbaric and vicious terrorist attacks in Israel over the past few weeks,” Hikind said. “By being physically present and walking the streets of Jerusalem, my message is to give strength and support for fellow Jews and the people of Israel during this difficult time. There are currently thousands of Americans studying in schools all over Jerusalem and their parents are concerned. The people of Israel should know that the Jewish community, as well as the majority of the American public, stands in solidarity with them.”
Hikind added, “What is happening in Israel is intolerable and just pure evil. Everyone deserves the right to live free from terrorism. Prime Minister Netanyahu must do whatever is necessary to protect Israelis and put an end to these attacks.”

As you heard last night from Hillary & Bernie, the biggest threat facing the world is climate change. The genocide taking place in the Arab world is not a concern for them. Al achas kama vikama, certainly not the Jews.
I am a member of your fan club. I disagree with you here. Your travel to Israel, other than enacting your Ahavas Eretz Yisroel, is futile. If you wish to make travel plans, I would like to suggest an alternative.
How about traveling to Washington? We need to do our utmost to withhold White House support for the Palestinian cause – the murdering and maiming of Israelis. The spokespeople for the WH have equated Islamic terror with Israeli defense! Our Administration is part of the terror mechanism. Yes, Obama, Mark Toner, Kerry, yes, they are supporters of terror. No simple and direct condemnation, just a request that those observing terror acts should refrain from injuring the perpetrators! Sodom upheld and legislated similar values.
I frankly do not believe that any amount of talking to Obama and the rest of the pro-terror thugs in the Obama Administration would be effective. In fact, negotiating with terror has never worked, which is why the “peace process” has been doomed from the start. But making that message audible in Washington might well accomplish more than the face-to-face support for the population of Eretz Yisroel that are being victimized.
I think we can always rely on Dov to stand up and do a lot for the embattled people of Israel. Dov, when Netanyahu was running for re-election Obama admin publicly stated several times Israel can not be trusted to be interested in peace (not Even handed but singling Israel out!) when Netanyahu said there will probably be no Palestinian state under his watch. Netanyahu explained he meant under current Palestinian disinterest in peace. NOW for DAYS Palestinians are running amok stabbing and killing men, women and children across Israel and PA’s Abbas is blaiming Israel and Inciting Yet Obama is SILENT about Abbas. Can you in your usual manner bring this up for the public to hear?
