The union representing private security companies last week met with relevant officials in Israel Police and the Ministry of Public Security to address a shortage of civilian security personnel during this security crisis.
In light of the situation, Economy Minister Aryeh Deri after consulting with Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan signed off on the required forms to permit security personnel to work additional hours, up to 14 hours daily to a maximum of 37 hours weekly. This towards permitting an increase in security without having to find additional manpower. The special dispensation applies only guards not working more than six days weekly.

The country is full of X-military personnel who are trained in using arms, just encourage everyone to carry arms and be alert – what’s the problem?
14 hour days but maximum 37 hours per week ( this applies to people working upto 6 days a week.
Of the Mac is 37 hours per week, than 14 hour work day will equal to only 2 1/2 days of work per week.
