Thanks to the meticulous investigation by NYPD Detectives at the 90th Precinct, a pair of thugs wanted in the vicious assault of an elderly Chasidic man, have been arrested.

The two perps were wanted for an assault which occurred on July 6, 2015 at 11:30PM.

In the incident, a 65-year-old man was beaten by the two suspects as he was walking on Wythe Avenue near his Wilson Street home at around 11:30PM. At the time of the incident, police said that the victim was struck with an unknown object several times.

Williamsburg Shomrim (WSPU) along with the NYPD had searched the streets as well as obtaining security camera footage. Detectives worked the case until the arrests on Thursday afternoon.

Our sources note that the two suspects are not connected to another assault which occurred the night before in the heart of Williamsburg.

The perpetrators are reportedly in their teens. Their names and charges will be published shortly.
